Having not seen this in almost 20 years I wasn't sure what to expect over the years. I was very surprised.
Despite the slow pacing, this Kubrick's visual epic grows on you. Timeless with its elegant mix of music, costumes and great cinematography, Barry Lyndon wraps you up in an 18th Century exploration of an Irish scoundrel set in England and Europe. An underrated classic.
