Review of Barry Lyndon (1975) by Lynda M — 28 Jan 2010
As good as Kubrick could make it. After years of working on "Napoleon" and it eventually was not going to be made, Barry Lyndon pretty much was a plan B, same costumes and settings on call. In away Lyndon's story is more down to earth to a degree, if perhaps a muted performance by O'Neal.
Stunning to watch and to me some impressive minor performances adding more beauty to this moving painting on screen.
