One of Kubrick's best movies. I think it might be seen as somewhat slow moving compared to his other works, but with 3 hours I thought it was really good. The way Redmon's story is told made it enjoyable to watch throughout the entire film.
Very picturesque, good dialogue and interesting use of the background music (often repeated in many scenes). I can't recommend it enough.
