Review of Barry Lyndon (1975) by Leo B — 15 Dec 2012
Exquisite decoration and detail is seen throughout the film, which completely immerses the audience into the period. Ryan O'Neal creates the unforgettable character of Redmond, where he delivers an all round performance from starting out as an unstable 'young lad', bringing himself up into power and becoming a tyrant of the Lyndon house. Kubrick, as per usual, delivers a stunning film with a perfectly suiting score of music.
A true classic.
