Review of Barry Lyndon (1975) by Grant J — 10 Jun 2016
Barry Lyndon, for four hours not going to the bathroom please this is a Stanley Kubrick must see film. With animation and everything. This is a beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful film I have ever seen in my life. Funny thing before I saw Amadeus I saw Barry Lyndon. I was from Amadeus steals a bit of Stanley Kubrick's cinematography to bring into Amadeus which I find it very funny today yet they claim that Amadeus was the first film to not use any lighting. Stanley Kubrick worked in many ways to bring natural lighting to the film and bringing executing beautiful scenery from playing poker on one scene with the candles, brings in the unique way to bring to cinematography and a new era for creating new ways to bring into film, which I do believe that Stanley Kubrick is the father of that genre. Four hours sitting into a movie is worth watching. Especially if it has the main title Stanley Kubrick over the title. From us rich colors Rich storyline Rich acting I have ever seen in English 1700 like era. As for this is maybe funny this was supposed to be the same cinematography like in Napoleon which was written before Barry Lyndon. And owning a script play I am very disappointed that MGM or Warner Bros. did not want any part of having FM which is written or directed by Stanley Kubrick what a disappointment but thankfully thankfully we have Barry Lyndon for hidden for the rich cinematography that is deserve an Oscar for god sake Oscars suck it for not having any credits for Stanley Kubrick with his rich cinematography and rich story telling. What a beautiful execute a film that I have ever seen from a hand painted drawing to cinema is yet the most genius thing at Stanley Kubrick nor any other director would've had tribute.
Grade.
A perfect 10.
