A very romantic movie, and such a personal work that the Director chose a French cast and set the action... in Amsterdam, in the winter.
However, the main characters are asocial and the cover up of homosexuality is a very clear issue.
Quote from the movie: "Don't forget that the onlything that people are interested in, is Love".
