What a tremendous movie! Mordecai Richler never wrote a bad novel and Barney's Version is one of his best. It's complex storyline, unforgettable characters and nasty sense of humour - it's all here.
Paul Giamatti's performance is not to be missed. Why didn't this move get a stack of Oscar nom's? Too Canadian perhaps? Proudly!
