Review of Barney's Version (2010) by Matteo N — 10 Feb 2011
What a great film! (I know I don't say this very often). After all I heard and read about it I thought Barney'd be some kind of anti-hero, but I actually liked him for what he did once he'd won over the love of his life.
Paul Giammti and Rosamund Pike were superb. The aging makeup is fantastic, a real shame that it's the only thing it gets a Oscar nomination for. It also certainly deserves a much wider distribution.
