Wish I'd read the book instead...it was a watchable movie - favorite scenes were Giamatti/Hoffman. Giamatti's dumpy-sympathetic character is a little tired for me ...but that seems to be his signature role and he is the master.
Oh well - I got out of the house for a couple of hours!
