Review of Barney's Version (2010) by Wayne M — 01 Apr 2011
Paul Giamatti is his usual skyscraping self as the cantankerous, heart on his sleeve Barney Panofsky. Covering 30 years and 3 wives we see his journey of pain, love and humour. This perceptive film bleeds humanity and is filled with pathos, pain and humour.
The entire cast is great, but Giamatti is especially memorable in the lead role.
