If U don't like Charles Bukowski (alcoholic writer) Then don't C the film, U will probably miss the whole point.
The point is that Mr Bukowskis problem with sobriety is that he hates it and he's trying hard to stay as drunk as long as possible!
In my opinion this is one of Mickeys best films.
