Review of Barbie (2023) by Purototaipu — 28 Jul 2023

So, I went to the cinema with a few friends and we watched this Barbie movie. I did not know anything particular about it and didn't see any trailer before. So I was really suprised when I watched this movie.

And I was nearyl laughing the whole time! Haven't laughed so much for a long time! The Barbieland is hilarious and the tropes they use as well. The feminism and empowerment message is so over the top that this is funny as well (without losing its critique).

So I just can recommend watching this movie, but try to avoid trailers.
