Review of Barbie (2023) by Tombombi — 26 Jul 2023
Hilarious, poignant and expertly crafted. It's no small feat that they've pulled together such a perfect tribute and deconstruction of the icon and societal force that is Barbie. Took a few points off for some meandering or what I thought meaningless or useless story elements, but in terms of pure enjoyment factor, this movie is an unabashed 10/10 I would recommend to literally everyone I know.
Margot Robbie is perfect, and Ryan Gosling is even better...
