Review of Barbarian (2022) by Sasato — 20 Jan 2023
I was really into it. At the beginning. Everything was suspicious and very well directed. At the end of the movie my stomache hurt. Not cause of the gore or the movie itself. It was all fine. But the plot was changed so many times or lets say everytime I tried to figure it out the movie would just have a turn, which is so unpredictable and quite genius.
The movie made me feel really weird and thats what good horror is. I was quite surprised and it was very well written. But at the end my head and stomach felt like pudding. If that makes any sense. Weird movie, weird plot, weird direction but for sure entertaining twists.
Some horror movie leaves a weird taste and thats unusual. And for a horror movie, I like it.
