Review of Barbarella (1968) by Monkeybird — 17 Oct 2008
Despite Jane Fonda's staggeringly sexy/innocent portrayal (with numerous costume changes), and some wonderful set design, this film doesn't really come together until David Hemming's first scene which is a greatly comic piece of film; from then on, the pace increases, the editing works better and less diversions are taken until the climax, which is a bit of a let-down nonetheless.
Still and all, Jane Fonda is STAGGERINGLY sexy in this.
