Review of Baraka (1992) by Edward D — 05 Dec 2007
Seeing this 14 years after is was filmed, and its effect on my was profound. We are gently invited to see the beauty of nature and the rich weave of simple lives lived in direct contact with nature and a actively vibrant and mystical connection to spirit.
As well as the darkest atrocities of our civilization. I came away with a de-intensified focus on the importance of my small proud life of consuming shifting to a pervasive sense of gratitude for clean water, a tribe, and the miracle of Gods organic expressions of life.
