This is a powerful meditation on life - human life, animal life, and the planet all share. No traditional "narrative" to speak of, but Fricke's camera work, musical choices, and use of juxtaposing imagery allows for the viewer to experience Fricke's message.
I was particularly moved by the segment of the face painted actor mutely screaming after the hussle and bussle of big city life. This is a beautiful film.
