Review of Baraka (1992) by Jarred P — 22 Sep 2010
This is another 'Qatsi-like' film that simply shows images of multi-continental settings and people in different cultures and civilizations with powerful music and no narration which is not necessary because there are too many thoughts and words that swim through one's mind when viewing this film.
It's just pure visual poetry. Pfft... and I thought Avatar was boring.
