A beginning that ranks as high as Casino Royale and Miike's Dead or Alive. Much more sentimental, complex and suspenseful than the remake, much less action. Little girl shooting first target = awesome.
I like how in the remake they made the hitman more international, gave the name Kong to the assistant and made the love interest deaf/mute instead of the hitman.
