This movie.... Oh my.

I can honestly say that this movie is so so good. It's based on a play, written in the wake of the school massacres that occurred in Paducah, Jonesboro, and Springfield to raise awareness about school violence by William Mastrosimone. The first production of the play was done 11 days before the columbine shootings!!

Anyway, the film, main guy is played the wonderful Ben Foster, who does an amazing job of portraying Trevor, a bullied teenager, he makes a fake bomb threat with a fake bomb was goes to summer school. He uses the tough guy act to scare people into not bullying him anymore.

The film clearly shows the issues of different clicks in school.

He decides to star in a production of the play 'bang bang your dead', a play made to help stop violence and bullying in school. He stars as josh, a guy who shoots up his school.

The film shows Trevors battle with school, feelings, and peers, as well as friends who feel the same but have had the 'X' taken away.
