Review of Bang Bang You're Dead (2003) by Zaenal A — 12 Apr 2012
This movie has a surprisingly accurate outlook on the behavior of people in a school environment. Sure, the characters and their actions were somewhat embellished but I think that was the point- to embolden what goes on in a kids life that really affects them.
That school isn't just going to class and learning, and petty insignificant problems. The script was pretty smart and Ben Foster knocks this one out of the park. Every role he takes, he nails. This was no exception.
Bang Bang You're Dead was worth it for his performance alone, and despite a low budget w/ very simple, straight forward directing job, it's a captivating story as well.
