Review of Bandits (2001) by Eduardo W — 01 Sep 2008
A slightly silly film that never fails to make me smile. It's sensibilities lie in treading a fine line between cheese and affectation, and it does so with great success. It lacks something in parts, but the sum that they make in the end is well worth a look.
The three main characters play off each other exceptionally well, producing plenty of amusement and genuine concern for the plight of each of them. Unjustly overlooked and underrated.
