Review of Bandits (1987) by Tagon P — 09 Jan 2008
Coming in at just under two hours, Bandits does feel long sometimes. Despite writing that seems pretty thin at some times (even for an action/thriller/romcom), it is is sufficient... most of the time. The romantic love triangle is a little predictable, yet charming enough to provide some needed warmth.
I enjoyed Billy Bob Thornton, even if his character was a bit of a nuisance and unnecessary distraction sometimes. Bandits isn't one I would rush out to see in theaters, but serves perfectly well as a good rental.
