Review of Bandidas (2006) by Valerio R — 24 Jul 2009
It's a decent movie to talk through. And I mean that in a good way... I got some good commentary going with the group I saw it with. The leading ladies definitely offer some eye candy, but from a comedic standpoint not much else. For a while, this seemed more like a clever drama, and I think it works better that way. But towards the end, it reverts to more of a comedy. It has elements of both Wild Wild West and Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid popping up throughout, and at times it even feels like a tribute.
My thoughts are all over the place on this one... but it's a fun movie for the most part.
