Performances are great and in the same way soul-annihilating. The laughs you get are painful. The internal breakdowns of the characters are something to see. The writing is really good. Michael Rappaport is actually a welcomed addition to a movie.
But without a doubt, Savion Glover, Damon Wayans, and Mos Def make this movie. A great trio. Wonderful acting.
