Review of Bamboozled (2000) by Mbaye S — 06 May 2013
In terms of writing and conveying its message, it is profound. It harps on its message too long, but it should. This is a point that doesn't need to be made subtly anymore. The only problem is with the actual film making.
It doesn't look right, and sadly, the best looking scenes are the ones in the minstrel show. A fantastic concept with a failed execution, but still very much worth the watch.
