Review of Bamboozled (2000) by Private U — 01 Jun 2007
Spike Lee film of a few years back where a black TV writer tries to make a point by making an outlandishly racist show. I liked this a lot. It wasn?t as heavy-handed as I thought it might be, but still throws the race issues right up there in front of you.
It?s a big, obvious satire that mostly works, but I thought that the ending was a bit too obvious.
