Review of Ball of Fire (1941) by Ralph R — 16 Mar 2008
I don't understand why these old movies are rated so highly. It is a predictable story -- good girl - going to marry a crook - meets a nice guy and falls in love with him - gets blackmailed into marrying the crook - good guys intervene and save the day.
So why is it rated 4 stars?
