Review of Baghead (2008) by Cory M — 17 Feb 2010
The industry leads us to believe that a film needs a multi-million dollar budget in order to work and sustain an audience. But films like Paranormal Activity and Baghead, have come along to prove that even a no-budget movie can hold the attention of an audience.
Watching the film, you see the sacrifice of the budget, but what the Duplass brothers were able to do were create a simple story that is, for the most part, well structured, interesting and somewhat creepy. It's further proof that there is more creativity and passion happening below the radar than in the major multiplex.
