Review of Bad Words (2013) by Lincoln K — 04 Apr 2014
An incomplete, bare, sometimes funny first effort from Jason Bateman. As Guy Trillby, Bateman strolls away from typical fare, but there aren't enough character-building moments and the structure feels oddly smushed together.
While you can't fault Bateman for an incomplete, stumbling indie script, you'd like to see bigger laughs from the moments that were there.
