Review of Bad Santa (2003) by Johnny C — 22 May 2010
Call me too naive but I found this overrated, vulgar and rarely funny. Billy Bob Thornton plays a disgusting character who has redemption thrust in his face and when he is finally redeemed it comes so late that it is hardly believable.
Its occasional funny moments are provided occasionally by Thornton and often by Bernie Mac but this film has not heart.
