Certainly not your average Christmas movie, this one chronicles a pair of thiefs who specialise in robbing shopping malls after working in the Christmas season as Santa and elf. However, Santa is an alcoholic who is constantly horny, shows up at work drunk all the time and scares children away.

However gloriously rude and frighteningly offensive it may be, this is a comedy that is far from being stupid, and in the end even has time for a heart warming unexpected finale. Thornton is brilliant in this unconventional Christmas tale.
