Review of Bad Moms (2016) by Lee J — 29 Sep 2016

Most movies that start with "Bad" usually aren't very good but I was surprised on how much I enjoyed this movie. Although predictable, the writing makes it enjoyable to watch and the jokes are well timed. For being rated R I was surprised by the lack of excessive nudity or cussing this genre usually tend to have. I think what makes this film enjoyable is that it touches a topic we are all familiar with in one way or another: the struggle of trying to be a good mother. This movie really makes you appreciate all the sacrifices your mother made to raise you.

*possible spoiler* in the rolling credits they show an interview of the mothers of the cast and you leave the theatre in a pretty good mood.
