MOTHER`S UNITE!!!! This is the underlying theme of this film. No matter what kind of mother you are, you are well represented within this film. The film may follow mostly Mila Kunis`s character through her hellish days as a mother of a pair of teenagers, wife of a cheating husband, friend to a pair of really out there women, babysitter to her assistant and boss at a job that seriously undervalues her until they realize just how important she is to the success of the company.
To play devil`s advocate, following any of the mothers in this movie would have made it just as compelling. As a child to a fantastic mother, I got to put myself in one of the roles of the children and watch my mom enjoy herself watching mothers struggle just like she did.
The party scene with all the moms giving increasingly scarier confessions is hands down one of the funniest moments in cinema for the year of 2016. No matter what stage of motherhood you happen to be in, from newly minted to a great-grandmother, you need to see this movie.
