Review of Bad Moms (2016) by Jennifer M — 29 Nov 2016
Bad Moms is funny, has the raunchy humor, and a nice sweet theme for all the hard working mothers out there. I did find Bad Moms to be quite entertaining and funny than I thought I would have. Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn were all hilarious portraying as their characters. Mila Kunis plays a mother, who is going through a separation after catching hee husband in a video chat room with another women. Struggling on keeping up with taking her two kids to school, sport practices, and keeping up with work. Until one day, she tries to take a day for herself and focus on her with her two newly met friends played by Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn.
The film does get predictable. Like Mila Kunis meeting Jay Hernandez who is a father and a widower that they both convienently run into each other at a bar setting. Then, Pta leader played by Christina Applegate having a conflict with Mila because she is not assisting in the bake sale and other pta meetings. It comes to a cat and mouse game with her sabotaging her daughters soccer team.
In the end, Bad Moms is a fun comedy film that focuses on the theme of mothers working hard in being their for the kids, getting a lot done with the chores and work.
