"Bad Lieutenant" is distinctly cognitive and highly intrusive form of warning made into film and thus. It is an entertainment in an enigmatic point of view, a disturbed situation combating the depth of something beyond the normal. Harvey Keitel's portrayal of a highly disturbed police officer is phenomenal. Like in the 1973 Martin Scorsese's "Mean Streets", Keitel acts as a self-possessed with society-driven angst, and low sense of humor kind of guy. I think this film is one of those that you might consider rare and genuinely made. The topic it emphasizes is vitality in the present-day situation since it represents power and greed. Too much power can kill - the message I have learned after watching this one. The city in here discusses in relation a poignant and pitiful drawing, where the main character, The Lieutenant is in. He never gets serious about his job. He supposedly be catching bad people, but his power might have gone into his thoughts and through the setback of his limits - a question of pity or disgrace.

Also tackled in this film is the faith of the members of the church. Like The Lieutenant in the film, many Christians are involved in various kinds of illegalities, but still call themselves followers of Christ. That's a big problem with some name-bearers of the faith. We tend to keep our beliefs alive but not the determination.

Abel Ferrara's "Bad Lieutenant" is a wild and bolder exploration of something important to be discussed, and it never failed.
