Review of Bad Girls (1994) by Robert B — 12 Aug 2008
While this goes against Western type by having four female leads, it goes along with just about every other Western type and cliche. Is there a reason why just about every Western has to have a character named Kid something or other? This is supposed to be about hardened women juxtaposed against their gentile look, but its hard not to see the four leading females as just eye candy.
Especially Drew Barrymore, who might be at her hottest here. Robert Loggia has a real weird role here, where he acts like he got punched in the throat all movie. I guess this is entertaining enough, but it certainly isn't up to some far superior westerns that were made around the same time.
