Review of Bad Education (2004) by R. V — 15 Dec 2007
Very surprising and intriguing, it's far from being a cliché view and just an ordinary plot. Bad Education has a great perception of the characters mind, offering us a whole understanding from their psych and yet leaving us something to discover, to figure by the end of the story.
Therefore, beneath the surface of a history of sexual abuse and homosexuality is a full study of seek of ones for a meaning, peace, fulfillment. Shows the limits of each one. All the need, love, passion, anger, desperation.
One of the great points of the movie is to show how Ignacio never looses, somehow, his innocence. Amazing Almodovar, amazing movie.
