Review of Bad Education (2004) by Orlok N — 19 May 2008
A movie like a Chinese Box,a movie within a movie,a story within a story.Great performance from Gael Garcia Bernal but none of the characters were likeable,Almodovar fails to develop their humanity which left me detached,with no feelings of empathy,'bi-dimensional existence,shallow',this words keep coming in my mind.
The plot revealed so much here and there that none of the twists were a surprise...While the subject is a serious one and deserves serious treatment,Bad Education treats it somehow in a flat manner...Great movie but not his best!
