Review of Bad Education (2004) by Ravikiran A — 25 Apr 2009
My first venture into Almodovar's world, where he beautifully weaves intricate stories, replete with twists and turns, dealing with controversial and taboo subjects, and builds it into an incredibly moving, and touchingly beautiful cinema.
. This film is colorful and has cheerful music, and yet, there is a tinge of sadness throughout the movie, be it longing or trauma or fear or loathing.. Beautiful performances, lovely camerawork, and brilliant storytelling.
Almodovar at his best!
