How come that sweet little boy turned into a heavy junkie, a criminal and a transsexual? It just seems quite random the way it happens in this film. From the way the film is laid out, it gives you few clues as to why the people in it act the way they do (only on a shallow level but not at a deeper psychological level).
It's almost as if you were being bombarded with random short clips that don't really have much to do with each other (to some extent this might be intentional but it gets messy). The film isn't very coherent and a bit too soap opera-esque for me.
