Review of Bad Boys II (2003) by Mihael T — 15 Feb 2012
Ok. So what if movie have boat loads of shit on every scene, because I like Lawrence and Smith, and Gabirelle. Overal I liked this just as much as first BB 1995. I like most part of both movie, but certainly I don't like:
- captain of the police station, because he is phoney (10x to his small role).
- most of car chases* are purpose of itself (too long and not very unlikely).
- mafia guys (or Bad guys) are extremely lame. I aks myself how they got to the top of drug business if they are mentally ill, not capable of shoot straight, and they act like retarded.
If you do not hate tons of bullets, than this movie is good for you. It is action oll the tima. Even story is ok, not much predictable (ok, except the obvious happy ending). Yes, you'll ask yourself why mafia moves it's money and drugs from place to place as cats do with their youngs. But the're retarded, and that's why take ages for them to do that. In that whole time movie have time to shoot truck loads of amo. And between this nonsense transports there is oportunity for local plunderers to take their share (and to fire yet another boat load of bullets - mostly in the air). But that's what this movie promises and this promise is well kept. You can expect few laughs now and than too. Wathc it if you can get it free.:).
*And about car chases, which bugs me in every movie: How on earth Ferrary can not escape from a slow lorry on a highway? All car chases are similar: A slow wehicle drives 1mm behind a much faster vehicle, than bumps it now and then, and that's it. I hate that!
