It doesn't take itself seriously and thats ok. This is 1 of the cheasiest and most ridiculous action movies of all time. and it works. look at the gap in the audience and the tomatometer... there is a reason for that.
Watch the movie and you will see that This movie is like Chinese Food... Even when its bad... its good.
