Review of Bad Boy Bubby (1993) by Tore F — 17 Sep 2009
He he. I just had a re-encounter with this film. Ha ha!
This film is about a guy who is thoroughly f..ked up due to an unusual, minimal and inhibiting upbringing. Then some rough encounters with reality expands his experiences. In a way you could say he goes through a delayed but rapid and randomised "upbringing" from child to adult according to what the little town he is manoeuvring around in has to offer; or from oddity to normality, or from will-less to willing, you choose.
His salvation, to put it that way, is eventually through his uninhibited adoration for music and big tits - in combination. But it does not end there... The style of the film is typically cult-like.
