Review of Backdraft (1991) by Chris A — 25 Jun 2012
Didn't love this movie the first time I saw it. After I viewed a second time I realized how good the story was. It wasn't just about fires, it had many interesting subplots. Donald Sutherland's character I found to be quite good.
Sutherland can act, he's an underrrated guy in Hollywood. Kurt Russell and Adam Baldwin are very believable as sparring brothers who try to become closer throughout the movie. I think this also had some great effects in terms of the fire scenes.
