Review of Back to the Future Part II (1989) by Ryan B — 12 Feb 2012
Y'know, this film gets a bad rep from most people, but really, BTTF is the really one of the best trilogies of all time. Even though I love The Matrix & POTC trilogies, they could have taken a cue from BTTF on how to film two movies at once and yet still have each film stand on their own.
It's simple, 1 is in the 50s, 2 is in the future, and 3 goes to the old west. Each film blends together to create a real journey, but each one, as I said before, are very independent. Even though it has the cliffhanger ending like most part 2 films, to me it really shows how a trilogy should be done.
Even afte 20 years, all of them are still a blast to watch repeatedly.
