Review of Back to the Future Part II (1989) by Originaldanger — 16 Jul 2020
The original was back in 1985... Back to the Future II was made in 1989 by the same director (Robert Zemeckis). For me Back to the Future II is the best sequel to the original as we get to see Michael J.
Fox as McFly trying to steal back a sports betting book or something called Almanac from Biff (Thomas F.Wilson). This book can make you rich as it has all the answers and correct answers to bets to make you a fortune but sadly it's misused causing a horrible future existence so Christopher Lloyd and Michael J.
Fox go back in time to stop the Almanac book from being used by Biff to create a better future.... Back to the Future II is full of great scenes, great characters, weird characters and amazing parts to it and is without doubt my favourite sequel to the original.
... Back to the Future III was pretty poor compared to this one and Back to the Future II in my opinion is just as good if not better or equal to the original but the third installment was quite bad. The idea of George McFly being dead in a horrible future with Biff being rich and wealthy and married to Lorraine (Lea Thompson) was a great idea and many of the scenes are done great especially the Delorean scenes and stuff and Michael J.
Fox in a black leather jacket rocked. What it did was take the first movie and go beyond what the original was. Excellent film.
