Review of Back to the Future Part II (1989) by Landon M — 26 Oct 2015
The sequel to the masterpiece Back to the Future, Part II is an expected step down, while still being very fun. This movie is the very definition of fun, despite some rehashed moments. There is a sense of retracing steps from the first movie, but that is forgotten when you get into the thick of it.
The future they set up is creative, the characters are just as entertaining, and the storyline is cool. The movie reaches it's greatest when Marty and Doc go back to 1955 and shenanigans ensue. The ending and lead-in to Part III is very creative.
This movie is a welcome addition to a great franchise. 8.5/10.
