Review of Back to the Future (1985) by Jamey P — 18 Jan 2016
Blockbuster classic from 1985. A favorite film of all time. It's perfect. Perfect cast. Perfect acting. Perfect direction. Perfect production for its time. The chemistry between actors is so great you assume they are friends in real life. The script is clever yet campy but suspends belief wonderfully. The block buster heyday in the 80's owes much to this film.
This film making breaks so many rules but it's screen play is cited as perfect in many circles. Marty has no arc whatsoever. Technically it should be a terrible film but magically it works.
