Review of Bachelorette (2012) by Geoff J — 27 May 2013

I have to say that I liked this darker version of 'Bridesmaids' quite a bit. Unlike many comedies today it plays realistically without dipping into scenarios that no human being could actually get into. It also scores major points for coming in at just under 90 minutes - a target more comedies need to be shooting for these days.

There isn't a lot of heft to these proceedings but its a perfectly enjoyable and well-acted film that deserves more attention than its received thus far.
